LifeSpring Daily Devotional 1 April 2020 Devotional

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my father
only. (Matt 24:36)

The scripture from our main text is an answer Jesus gave to His disciples when they asked him when He will be coming back.

Jesus said to his disciples, that there will be great tribulations such as has never been before or will be after you may be asking the same question, when is Jesus coming back?

When will the rapture take place? The answer is nobody knows except God.

The great question is will you be ready when Jesus will return to take His saints home away from this wicked and sinful world.

What qualifies you for the rapture is, if you can just give Jesus your heart. Destruction and tribulation are everywhere. The evil of the days is multiplying greatly.

Wars and ramous of wars. Plagues, Brothers rising against each other; and parents against children and vice-versa.

All these are signs of the end-time.

People are celebrating SIN an evil day by day and they call it the fashion on board.

But all those who engage in it shall not make heaven.

The good news is no matter how dark your SIN maybe, Jesus said; come unto me… and I will give you rest (Matt 11: 28).

You are so important to God that He had to send Jesus to die for you and me.

A certain man in Luke 15:11 had two sons and one came to his father and demanded freedom (inheritance), his father did and gave it to him. He went to a far country and lived a careless and sinful life and spent
all that the father gave him.

That is the way most people have left God and went far away from God. But every day, the father would be expecting him to be back

I imagined the father looking out through the window expecting the son to be back.

In the same manner, God is expecting you day by day to return to him. It doesn’t matter how much wrong you have committed.  God is waiting for you to return to him.

Jesus was talking to his disciple in Luke 15, He said, which man will have hundred sheep and one is missing and will not abandon the ninety-nine and go after just one which is missing?

But when he has found the missing sheep, he rejoices over the found sheep. Jesus said so also is joy in heaven over one sinner that repents more than ninety-nine persons who are righteous but do not need repentance.

God is waiting to decorate your life and clean you up from every sin which you have committed that you think God can never forgive you. Jesus is calling you today so that he can make you clean. No matter who is condemning you, Jesus has not condemned you.

Maybe you have backslid and you are angry with God for not doing a certain thing for you.

It is not too late to return to Jesus. He had been waiting for you with an open arm to receive you and make you whole. Jesus loves you and that is why he gave his life for us to redeem us from the hand of the devil. Accept Jesus today and live a prosperous and fruitful life.

Dear father, I know I am a sinner and you sent your only son Jesus Christ to die for my sins. I have wronged you and don’t deserve to be your child.

Lord Jesus please come into my life and make me new again. I vow not to return to my former sins again. I promise to serve you with my whole life.

Thank you, Lord, for saving me! In Jesus Name I pray Amen.

Now, I trust you must have been blessed by this devotional. Therefore, to maximize the benefit that is in Christ Jesus, you must, first of all, identify with Him. I invite you to make Jesus Christ the Lord over your life if you have not before now surrendered your life to Him. Do well to make this confession:

“O Lord God, I believe with all of my heart in Jesus Christ, your beloved Son. I believe He died because of me and was raised from the dead. He’s alive today and I confess Him (Jesus Christ) as the Lord over my life from this day.
